Why not look at Europa wheels, five stud same as the VX, Tyreman had a lovely set on his tubby with no faff thumbsup

Because then you still have 17's all round, nice looking wheels but still pretty much where you started handling wise and with the same restricted tyre options!

So you still have the handling the way it was intended not a bad thing IMHO. Unless you need super stickies for track work the tyre option does not justify £1800, you would get 3+ sets of bridgestones for that!

My 2p.

Fair comments but it's not the cost of the Bridgestones I have issue with it's the lack of tyre choices!

I do love the look of those Europa wheels though.

Also I've just seen that the Europa SE has 17' fronts and 18' Rears! What would that do to the hadnling? Has anyone tried that??

The elsie wheels were 17" on the rear at 16" on the front. Is this not still the case, or is it ok to put 16"s on the vx? I;m probably wrong but just make sure they fit b4 you buy them!

Hmm, also interested in this answer as they Europa SE wheels look stunning. Would it be the same issue as fitting the Elise wheels i.e. changing Hubs etc or would it be much easier/cheaper as the Europa uses a 5-stud hub?

No these are a 5-stud fitment same as the VX but they are also 17's so not really a move forward just a different design. The Europa SE wheels are 17 front, 18 rear also on VX type 5 stud hubs but no idea what affect it would have on handling?
