Well I have been thinking about it for a while and as much as I love the car and certainly the performance. It is 100% up for sale :( I have a member very interested in having her but thought I would post a thread just in case (have a half heated advert in the for sale section) Sure most know of the details / history of the car which is a bit special, cannot think of anything that has not been taken off to check / refurb / renew / upgraded. Astra VXR engine (LEH) and 6 speed box conversion (20K miles approx) AET upgrade turbo (3.5K old) Custom alloy 76mm intake pipe to turbo 80mm AMM and modded airbox External custom oil cooler (Ah fabrication made the cooler, braided hoses etc) 2Bluar FULL 3inch exhaust - no cat :D breather catch tank Pro alloy radiator Pro alloy charge cooler (with extra insulation mods) Pro alloy large baffeled fuel tank External 1.5ltr swirl pot and inline bosch 044 fuelpump Uprated engine mounts HID headlights / all other lights upgraded, LED side lights Rear carbon wing - adjustable Rear 6 fin MMG diffuser - currently at track angle ;) with brace bars also Speedline copies with R888's on – lighter than the original and wider front track New uprated paddle clutch / new dual mass flywheel / new slave cylinder Braided brake hoses SBS pads all round Grooved rears and grooved / dimpled fronts (CS & EBC) Racing brake fluid Harness bar and harness Silly expensive boost controller (used for boost reading only) HKS Scan guage 2 with custom mount Black leather interior Rear head guards removed Matiz smaller rear view mirror Custom 63mm free flowing CC to tb kit Nitron NTR suspension set to 120F 128R by Hoffmans Geo by Guglielmi Brand new EP quick rack and rod ends S2 uprated rear toe links Refurbed wishbones (polyflex jobbies) to be fitted Heater had extensive mods so it works :D lol External forge recirc dv New solenoids Recently serviced Gets looked after VERY well and only the best oil etc etc etc was 305bhp / 337ft/lbs but done a bit more since, hold most of that power between 3.5k -6.5k On the slipping clutch on road tyres did 11.6@119 and is a VERY fast car, on road and track. Need to get some more timing done but is very low 8's to 100 I would guess 60 is mid 3's. To compare my friends 997 911GT3RS is a few cars behind by 120mph and the turbo fairs not much better. Quite a few kgs saved on the car which helps It was registered as a cat C originally due to stolen and front wishbone damage. As most know this really is not as bad as it sounds and car drive straight and NO issues at ALL. I have stripped the car after I purchased it and put it back together (did not really need it) and I was happy to test her to 168mph (yes it was legal) Last week the car was reversed into and will have the cracked clam repaired / replaced and fresh lick of pain so other than the usual rip in the drivers bolster and bit of play in the seat she is a good example £20k ono I will still be very much on the boards even after selling and will continue to assist with advice and working on members cars. DG

Sounds like an amazing car! Especially the guestimated mid 3 secs to 60! Wish I could click my fingers and have my car kitted out with your mods to save me the time and effort :P Need a wee bit of extra power after a stalemate last night with a highly modded Evo  Good luck with the sale DG

Thanks for the comments guys, I will miss not been part of the gang (well in terms of no vx in the garage) Need to sort a few things out (like a new house etc etc) and can't justify running her with so many overheads to sort out :( But 12 months and will be back faster and crazier than ever Prob just get 4 door sensible quick car for now and maybe a cheeky small track car to keep me from going mad lol Next car could be another vx but would prob have a different engine (or rework the LEH and standalone so I can map it) and a lot quicker (sure the chassis can take it and another 100bhp :D) or may do another french/vag conversion either a vag diesel clio/5 or more likley something I have put off a few times - megane or clio v6 with RS4 conversion (not standard :D) or something more track focused or even a porker of some kind? Soo many options but whatever it is you can be assured I will sprinkle some magic on it :D I will make sure it goes to a good home, there has certainly been a lot of time & money put into her and happy to expalain every small detail of the car. I have NO doubt of the 0-60 time :D DG
