Wise words from one so young! VX modding needs a healthy dose of patience in my experience.

Got a few things sorted and then ran into a few more problems. I fitted my new wheels to only realize that the rears don't fit with with the CF ARB i have on the car as they rub on the rear of the rim, so ive been talking to Simon to fix this problem and he reckons a smaller bracket will work so ill keep you posted on that. Only have the 2 fronts fitted now.

I fitted my new tensioner to find that its still squeaking so a new belt is the next thing on the list.

New aerial fitted.

The good news is i received a few more goodies for the vx which is shark fin aero mods and a Robins front splitter. Should look awesome onces it fitted along with the wheels.

CF ARB and wide rears... you might just need a spacer... I have 9 inch wide rims and 245 rears and they clear the CF ARB and mounts..... just need to creat the right offset

The turbo model has different wishbone then the N/A so the CF ARB is clear of any catching of wider rims.

Right ive manage to get the wheels fitted now and thanks again to Simon from cornering force for sorting a smaller bracket out for me. This is the new bracket next to the old one and you can see its loads smaller.

I was thinking of fitting some roof fins or what ever you call them lol but I cant make my mind up! Think they would look better body coloured,or is that defeating the object?

I dont know if the roof fins would look any better in sliver and i think your right when you say no to the roof fins.

I actually put up a wanted for a roll bar top piece to fibreglass aero fins into, but i didnt get around to it before i sold up. I'd look out for the top fibreglass rollcover and get playing with fibreglass. The fins need to be much bigger imo and smoothed into the panel. I'm not saying these look bad, but the idea could look a lot better. Im suprized someone like Darcini/Cliffie hasnt done this yet. Ohh and the car looks fantastic mate, those DTC would be black if it was mine though i think.

That sounds a better idea with the fins and something to consider in the future. Bigger fins would look better and them all blended into the rollbar cover like the evo have on there roof. Cheers mate and my idea with the wheels was to get them in a anthracite colour along with the fuel cap and orange powdered coated calipers, but i kind of like the sliver.

I'm all over orange calipers but i have a set on the 911 lol I'd go with the anthracite idea personally. With the roll bar i reckon you could make one fin from mdf, take a mold to make several from fibreglass, smooth them into a rollbar cover and away you go . . Im gutted i didnt get around to doing it myself.
