I still think red is the best for resale as everyone knows a vxr is red with livery. If it's in a different colour i think you will have to prove it's a vxr IMO. I nearly ordered my vxr in orange and louise thinks the blue looks tops. But after seeing the black one i think it looks cool Mine will be in red with the stickers.

Skiddo....many thanks on doing a yellow one with the stripes.....could not do it on my computer as I did not have the software. I am still in 2 minds whether I should go for the stripes or not on a yellow VXR. They dont look too bad but I must admit they look better on a red car. I think my problem is standing out too much in the crowd with all those stripes...ok I guess when you are on a track but driving around on a public rd may be ott for me. Still got a couple of weeks to sleep on it Mani

Perhaps black flashes instead of white? I'm guessing they print these things off on demand and can hack them about on a computer any which way they like.

I've had a quick crack at black flashes on a yellow car but it's more involved as my initial efforts have turned the entire picture black instead of just the stripes

I was thinking the same, ie you need contrast so light stripes on a dark background or dark stripes on a light background.

Skiddo ...what do you think black stripes on a yellow car...would go with the wheels though..

Ben, you're right mate. I'm just making excuses because the Mrs wouldn't let me!

PS Don't like the black stripes on blue - white stripes are the bollox!

Generally I like the impact the colour schemes have - In the flesh I think the white on my coral blue would look truely awesome, and if my VX was purely a weekend fun car I'd be very tempted to splash out and have it done. As an every day mode of transport though I think it might invite trouble. I'd be frightened to leave it anywhere as I think the current looks of admiration and comments like "awesome car mister" would change to be "flash git" or similar and I'd come back to the car to find it keyed or the roof slashed.
