This is an interesting kit. But how do you adress the slight change of gap between the disc and the caliper??? I've seen a similar modification on Elisetalk but the hubs were machined to accomodate this difference.

The gap on the mating face of these modified shrouds is between .8 and 1mm. This gives an increase in track of bet 1.6 and 2mm The allowance either side of the disc between the caliper is 1.5mm so there should be no need to remove any material from the calipers.

Yes, but one of the caliper piston can travel further than expected (by design) with worn pads

Are you concerned that the inside brake piston will pop out the seal?

Not to pop out but just to work in too extended position which could lead to premature wear and future leaks

You're best off hosting it somewhere - photobucket is good, but you need to register first - I think you can use imageshack with just your email thumbsup

I understand what you mean but the disc is moved by .7mm only.

Did these cooling ducts come off in the end? Did anyone fit them and what is the feedback. Also are they still available? Thanks John

Cant remember exactly, got the two metal shrouds, the ducting, the adaptors for the back of the fog lamp holes and the shrink tubing to fit the ducting and I think it was about £110

Fitted mine a couple of months ago and really pleased with them. In the kit you get everything you need for the installation including very detailed instructions and templates for the exact position of the cut out in each wing liner. Overall a very professional bit of kit. Well woth having. Price wise I think they were about £150 including postage for the pair. Dave

Thanks for adding the feedback. I don't visit the site that often. I plan on displaying a pair of cooling ducts at the National meet in June on the Saturday. I can still make the brake cooling duct kit. The price hasn't changed its £145 plus postage. I just need to know the internal diameter of the disc as per the pictures on page one. Paul
