Just goes to show how rubbish they are, I can't make out what any of them are supposed to say without reading the notes.

If you can't afford the real thing leave the plate alone!

Nail on head there ;) nothing against personal reg plates or 3/4 front plates :D but instantly think what a muppet when they have messed with lettering. Regardless of car. Right rant over time for coffee lol

Look out Fab :D LOL you cook great food so may have to just look away from your number plate ;) Each to their own and certainly not having a go at anyone - lot of people could feel that what I have done to my car is not in keeping with oe vx design and should be shot :D :P

Though I dont like people buggering around with plates, I think its even sadder that people spend time looking for them and deciphering them, as nearly everyone else isnt interested or bothered. I can only assume the site is called chav plates, as its done by a bunch of chavs who like looking for crap number plates, and who certainly dont have high literacy levels, to the point where they feel the need to swear away on a website. Maybe they should spend more time reading and widening their vocabulary and less time driving around looking for saddo plates. Martin s

I don't understand this one:

It's meant to be: ELL 15....

surely the original plate would read Ellis better if that was their aim??

I remember when Ernie Taylor came to open my local gym, drove up in his pimped out Range Rover with the plate reading:

T31 CEP

I'm surprised to see this post, as I was so surprised at how many VX'ers have personalised plates. I'm a purist, standard plate for me :groupjump:

Cant beat a private plate, as long as you dont alter letters etc.

Don't see a problem with it. They cost far too much money so if someone wants to spell something, more often than not they've got to mess around with the placing and bolts which leaves them open to a possible fine. Why not get two big stickers with your name on it and stick it to the front and back of your car? ;)

As much as those plate do look gash you have to wonder about the people who spend time looking for them.

Mine had a personal plate on when I bought it. I paid an additional £500 for it and it was worth every penny for the amusement factor. I am not bothered about whether it is an investment or not TBO. They are just a bit of fun IMO

There was an Ariel Atom for sale on Pheads last month with the plate... C11NT... which I thought was amusing!
