im still reading into the americans as they have twincharged engines :)

In such a small space?

thats the problem... fitting it in the vx! do you really need a boot... or a fuel tank?!

because the low revs are taken care of with the SC you don't need to worry about lag and you don't have to put the turbo between the engine and the subfarame.

I'm seriously considering binning my beautiful ProAlloy "stealth" header tank and converting to your version, Joe. Not bothered about the luggage space as mine doesn't seem to have any effect. But, being able to remove the clam without draining the bloody thing is very appealing.

exactly why i didnt want anything in the boot! would be a nightmare if you had the swirl pot and fuel pump in the boot aswell!! the header tank is cheap as corner shop chips aswell!

but i cannot take any credit for it! its all down to exmantaa Imnotworthy

now your not quite being equal there as SC cost is fitted and the ITB's are for parts only and I recon you'd struggle to get 210bhp from ITB's without headwork.

I know

got to try and get more throttle bodied vx220's some how rallly

Out of intrest, what is the cost of ITB's including all the head works required see the full benefit of the ITB mod?

what I mean is you could quite easily put a turbo under the sub frame just infront of the cat. The air filter would need relocating to the drivers side. Plus you'd need to get the flow from the turbo back the the near side to enther the SC

The main problem is that in the US versions they use a FMIC as additional cooling in the VX you'd need a second charge cooler, which is likley over load the pre-rad. Unless you used a large IC and turbo ears

a ported head usually costs about £500

ITB (individual throttle bodies)

To be honest it isn't worth fitting a stage 1 sc, far better to go straight to a stage 2+

itb's are more of a project which can be done in various stages when funds allow thumbsup
