@Ben - I still cant work out if your buying one or not :P but i think your teasing everyone ;) I'll pop up and see you at the ring when you bring it over and you can take me for a fast pass lap, hopefully Ricky will be over at the same time for some comparisons B) I went out with Mani for a quick blat while he was over and although it was only for a few miles down some nice bumpy curvy roads the car shifted pretty impressively Imnotworthy and always felt planted, braking on bumpy surfaces without ABS cutting in - no problemo B) You will love it I think ;) John.

35. R1 nur - standard

Just checked the original invoice - ordered 7th June 2003 3 weeks after I collected my VXT. (If that makes any of you waiting feel slightly better about my car turning up before yours.)

Just to add to the number order black hole, mine was ordered on 13th March 04 and I'm 34   , but hopefully not much longer to wait ?

Cheers, Ian

I am back.......from the Luxemburg trip! the car has nearly 2000 miles on it and I guess the engine has been run in :P overall, its took the trip in its stride...except on day 2....... went to start the car ...and nothing....battery had died... called out the AA equivalent who started the car...apparently I had left the main lights on all night long....but then we found out that the main lights were faulty...ie once switched on....didn't go out even with the switch being turned off! took out the fuse....they are working at present but intermittently....may be a stick light relay/switch apart from this little hiccup...the car is fine..I wish I could say the same for the armourfend rant they did it on monday....just relised that its a bad job...on the bumber, 2 sills and one wing mirror... word of caution boxyvxr......I have changed my recomendation on the installer..... just spoke to armourfend and told them about using sub-contractors! PS Has anybody else noticed that the Vauxhall site no longer list's the VXR220 at all under either VX220 or Price 25K+ - I thought it was there on Sunday when I was looking for something else.

Has anybody collected their car from Hethel - and if so I have been thinking ofer the following points ; 1) Do Lotus or your dealer have the Tax disc ? 2) Do Lotus or your dealer produce the Number Plates for you to drive home ? 3) Do you get a discount or total refund of the £525 delivery/plates charge ? If the answer to 2 is no - it's up to you, then 3 must be a £525 saving ;) Cheers, Ian

1) Your Dealer

2) As above, even had to advise my customer to take double sided foam tape with her, after advice from Vauxhall

3) Now your just being silly, although I'm waiting to see if my (current ;) ) employer gets an extra bill.
