I HAVE it ON MY CAR



it is perfect for my car
but i have change many parts on the z22se for supports 1.1 bar pression..
now i have 320/340 bhp tested on meny differents CARTEC DYNO


Wow! I emailed the company but I had not any reply. How much did you pay? I would be happy to have around 220 HP instead of 147. I am thinking to have a Thorney Motorsport VX220 NA Power Pack 4 - £2749 first, then then Rotrex.

Again, any information is welcomed :groupjump:

spending a lot of money on throttle bodying then throwing them away when you fit a retorex? not really the way to go :P

Well,

The Rotrex gives more power, so I should go for the SC. Why you say that 'throwing them away when you fit a retorex'?

because the ITB kit is a replacement of the tb system so if you where going to supercharge it then you would have to take it all off and replace with the charger etc etc.... however if you ITB'd your car and then rotrex supercharged it, you will have a very very unique beast!

My car has itbs with a nice ally inlet plenum.

Joe, been looking for at Rotrex S/C now because of u.. LOL :rolleyes: dont think i will go down the ITB route.. hows your car coming along? on the road yet? :D

:lol: itbs come with a full mapable ECU aswell just not sure if it is up to the job although it probably is! hmm.... im getting the final trial part this weekend coming hopefully, so maybe all back together for the following weekend?! thats the plan anyway! depends if there is alot more snow!

god i hope the snow packs it in.. i mean dont get me wrong. it looks very pretty and all, but i wanna play with the VX!

ill look forward to the pax at the next bedford meet.. what BHP is yours at now (with all the new parts on)

it was just over 270bhp but the exhaust was restrictive after 5500 so now have a new one..... and that was achieved after 1hr on the rollers, because someones car took too long :saw: :lol: who knows what these new cams will do which is why i am waiting :)

How do I know what size pulley to go down to if I want to raise the boost by a set amount ? Now that i have a stronger bottom end it may be worth fitting a smaller pulley, but how much smaller ?

i use 75mm and have 1.1 bar c30/74 rotrex it is out of rpm of standard rotrex standard
