They're about 40p each from Maplin using those quick reference numbers. Possibly cheaper elsewhere but guess that's unlikely to break the bank. :D

No one on this post seems to need electi bits, but as a reference it can do no harm to list the values and supplier as now done.... Off home now, I hope my 2 or 3 hours stripping down and sealing up the matrix etc have made a difference to the cabin temp at motorway speeds......

The other thing you could do to help the cabin heat is to cover the section in the footwells that have the holes drilled in. A lot of people have reported about cold draughts coming in down there. Ren

I got 50W ones as they can dump 25W without a heatsink, meaning they should never ever ever die :lol:

No resistors needed here... Holes??? I see them but thought they were covered by some thing behind them??? And your right.. driving home there was lots of hot air coming out of the vents, but a cold draft around the light (x 4) switches on the dash board. The dash maybe leaking cold air, or these holes?? Cold air is getting in the cabin from some where, not doors or roof, but some where on the dash....

through the holes in the footwell. look down and you will see them.

They are blanked off by some thing black, as I thought all elise and vx's are?????
But I will look again tomorrow. I think they are covered behind any way.........



"covered" with a foamy mesh that is fed cold air by the steering rack area ;)
