How are people generally fixing these in? I have some carpet tape at home which might work ok (its pretty strong) and its something I can remove if I have to without any after effects if necessary. Or are people just putting carpet in without some sort of fixing?

Hi mate. The kits come with a fitting guide, so all will be revealed when they arrive 🙂 should be with you in 2-3 days.

They generally fit together like a puzzle and each piece holds the other pieces in.

Carpet tape can help though just don't use spray glue as A) the moisture can rot the metal and B) it's not easy to get off if you remove / replace the carpets.

Hi all, they are between £53-55 depending on the price I get the carpet in, it fluctuates. They've been around this price for about 5 years or so.

I don't make much on these, only originally set out to make them for my own car but the demand is still there 🙂

Really impressed with the kit, I was expecting to do lots of trimming and adjustment but really wasn't necessary! Didn't need to remove the rear panel, managed to slide it under and used carpet tape in a few places to ensure a nice fit. That one bolt on the passenger seat though, it's my new nemisis!!

Cheers Fred 👍Posted Image

Do note you can still get the original car mats back in. You just need to peel away some of the sponge material under the fronts where the securing bolts go through and it will bolt in. Just means you can keep the carpet underfoot in good condition.

Spot on mate. There are also tailored mats (not supplied by me) on ebay, if members dont want to peel the foam off the originals.

I've used both options but I've had several VXs.

Pics of the tailored Mats in this thread somewhere in my orange VX220 👍
