Interesting! I've not chosen curtains with him either, for the record, but have been out in the 360 a couple of times :-)

Regarding Rockingham, I had a real problem with fuel starvation going into hairpin 1 on the International circuit. I had 9 litres in the car and every time I took the corner I would end up stalling on the next corner... very annoying. Luckily I never had the marshalls out to rescue me :-)

So how do you know Jools then?

Sounds like we need to run at 1/2 tank minimum then.

I know Jools through a friend. We met up at a Wedding reception, and it turned out he was the only person I've met who knew more about cars than I did! We both have a bit of a fascination with them. We try and keep in touch every now and then - he lent me a VBox for the trip to the 'Ring last year.

Anyway, he's off racing Radicals now, the lucky bugger :-)

As for Rockingham, yes, I found keeping the car topped up was pretty hard as the onsite fuel (which is pretty cheap) was only open at Lunch. The rest of the day you have to head offsite to the local ASDA. Not ideal.

Only 6 days to go - can't wait!

By the way, does anyone else have trouble fitting in their car with a Helmet on?

Just had a look at the long range weather forcast and it looks like it could be dry :groupjump:

As the day is being run as sessions I would hope their should be enough time to go get some fuel if needs be.

Really looking forward to this now rallly

The first of four visits for LoT to Rockingham in 2010 and the day after BTCC race at the venue.

We're using the same circuit as BTCC the International Sports Car circuit.

This day is being shared with our friends at MG's on Track and we will have one session for LoT members who will drive for the first 20 minutes every hour so plenty of track time.

2 miles of wide, safe track Rockingham is a great venue for all experience levels.

They have 19 cars booked and two sessions an hour... We have 32 cars booked and one session per hour.... Oh well, it is local and it was cheap.

Yeah, I think there might be some overlap between sessions now as MGOT couldn't sell their allocation, so Paul Golding took on some more slots. Whether that still means 3 sessions an hour with one of them being a mixed MG/Velise session, dunno.

Bring a helmet, Pax rides are free but you need to be there for the briefing.
