CCI have significantly put their prices up, and I think I know why (and will post as soon as sorted mine out).

Go on tell use why please?

Do you think all of us that are already with CCI will have an increase at renewal then?

Well I've just taken a policy out with them. And I am very happy with the price.

Just a quick note on REIS I didn't realise, but their policys specifically only insure sports cars. This really only becomes an issue if you want third party on another car under your fully comp policy. Apparently they don't offer this service. No courtesy car cover either..... However they did manage to insure me for a week on Tga's 1.4 astra for £68 :(

Another note on REIS (and why I believe CCI prices are going to rocket) is they have apparently stopped doing sports car insurance - too many claims, and each being of high value are the apparent cause. Was told this yesterday afternoon. My CCI insurance is way over what they quoted me just over a year ago, to the tune of 200 or so. They won't lower price too unless I find a policy with similar cover elsewhere (and then will beat it!)

Be interested to hear how you go on at renewal. Hopefully the prices won't go up.
