Isn't the speedo run from the abs unit too so an abs delete could be trouble.

Imprezas don't run 28mm master cylinders. They run 26.9875mm on the 4 pot cars. I have one that I'm braking atm. 👍

The Subaru MC is not a simple swap out, Josh who did this conversion explained that some part inside of it needed machining. Can't remember exactly what.

It's from any 4 pot car. The car I'm stripping is 1998 wrx sti.

OEM MC should be the GENERAL MOTORS 9197943, which is the same as the AUDI 1J1614019 master cylinder.

 

In the VAG world there should be adapters available to exchange this 23.8mm bore MC for one from a Sharan (25.4mm) or one from a Cayenne (26.99mm) if a bigger MC bore is wanted.

 

Perhaps dig around a little with some VW/Audi/Porsche tuners :)
