I had the 24v Cosworth version on long term demo from Ford in the run up to it's launch. It became my company car for three months as I couldn't persuade anybody else to take it.

I think there needed to be given what they are doing / where they are doing it. Again I enjoyed it. Shame this series is now finished :(

They did look a bit rough at times.Even with the luxuries they can get for them out in them places and the distances they covered I bet its not a walk in the park but I reckon most of us would have loved to do it, just not in a VX  Good job they had plenty spare wheels for a Volvo

I think the support crew probably had 3 of each cars in spare, and 4 trucks of spares.
Would not be surpised if this was a 100 man job operation.

People and hand outs doesn't half grip my sh*t. From the scrotes in Donny wanting 20p for bus fare to all those people wanting the free stuff from Hammond. Hate it with a passion. Same as Afghan, 6 years ago if you gave a child a pencil he was happy as can be, now they steal everything they can and demand more. When you can't give it you get pelted with rocks and called a doodah. Sorry, on a tangent there but couldn't help but get annoyed watching that bit.

One of probably about 6-10 support land rovers. Or flown in by the filming helicopter.
