Can anyone advise on sourcing replacement headlamps? I am looking at the write off 220's on salvage on eBay at the moment. Is there any similar Vauxhall headlamp which can be modified to fit behind a new cover glass? I've found suppliers of clams and a supplier of glass covers. Big question - are front end damaged cars an economic disaster area? I've been doing ex write offs for over 40 years so I do have expertise in the procedures involved. Kind regards from Fred

Headlights are the killer you can pay 400 each second hand unless you are into fibreglass work and feel like trying to remodel the clam to take a different make something like rx8 look similar size but angles may be wrong

Not sure what Tom's plans are with producing new headlamps or if he has given up entirely.

 

As Chris says, second hand £400 is the average.
