Watched every minute of that, enjoyed it :D Was reminiscing with a guy at work about old computer games today, that's what lead me onto this!

I remember there was a little noise if you did it in time.

Did it just change the colour of their outfit?

I've still got my old Amiga 500+ legendary machine with some epic games that are still fun. Cannon Fodder 1 & 2, Syndicate, Chaos Engine, Sensible Soccer (still the greatest football game ever), Super Skidmarks, Micro Machines, Lemmings, Cow Wars, Jumping Jackson, Base Jumpers, Sid Miers Civilization, Street Fighter II, Infection, I went down the path of Amiga 500+ -> PS1 -> Xbox -> Xbox 360 -> PS3. Still got all of them and they all still get used.

I had an Amiga back in the day. In its time it was a pretty good bit of kit and we had some healthy banter with Atari owners about how sh** their ST's were :D Sensible Soccer was a great game. I remember barbarian (spin round and chop opponents head off) Speedball 2, Xennon 2 (bitmap brothers graphics were always great) Probably the most impressive game I remember was project X. Done by Team 17 software just down the road from me. They are still going strong too. Not really been into gaming since those days although I did have a Snes and a PS2.

Xennon 2, I remember the name, I used to play it a lot. Was it a vertical scrolling space ship shoot em up?

I had a C64 for my 8th birthday (so 20 years ago) followed by a game gear, mega drive, game boy, saturn, dreamcast, PS2 and Wii. Love all the emulators out there, prefer the games from the 80's/90's, was all about the gameplay and not the fancy graphics. Particularly loved the arcades from that era too. Who remembers all the Dizzy games from the 8 bit era. Xenon 2 was a shoot em up. Rob

I bought it with Virtua fighter 2 and sega rally - 50 quid each :o A lot of money for a game back in 1997!! Remember being allowed to play sega rally on our big screen TV when I was 13 - all 21 inches of it!!! Those were the days!!!

Yep made my way through all the GT games. My favourite was always Tomb Raider. I met the brothers who invented her at CTS wheels and tyres in derby about 10 years ago. One brother was having the tyre on his 360 spyder changed, the other brother was there in his 996 turbo.

It was Down R Up L YBXA on the 2nd controller and it gave you 10 star turbo mode

What about the Neo Geo? That was kind of the ultimate back in the Amiga days. Very expensive though I recall. Never knew anyone that owned one.

iirc they were US imports. According to wikipedia they were $649 which doesn't seem that much now but the supernes was $199 when first launched
