Got a Neo Geo and a SNES(with Starfox) up in the loft, happy days, had all the usual suspects back in the day, Spectrum, C64 all the way through to the current 360, so many happy wasted hours. :D

PC Format The game I spent most time playing at uni all linked up to my mates was Unreal Tournament GOTYE. I'd love to play that now, wouldn't know if I could get it anywhere?

My dad bought me one when I was 1 which is almost exactly 30 years ago!

It never came out of the box, it's probably still in their loft.

Ahhh retro gaming, I love it so much I am currently building my own arcade cabinet that has all the mame rooms, snes, megadrive, n64 etc etc. Highlight of the years have been: Teenage mutant ninja turtles on the nes Repton thru time on the BBC Mario golf on the gameboy Mario kart on the snes Circuit breakers on the ps1 -I go on at the kids probably too much about how games were better (and more expensive) in my day...

Xennon 2, I remember the name, I used to play it a lot.

Was it a vertical scrolling space ship shoot em up?

yeah it was lots of weapons to buy :)

and soundtrack by Bomb the Bass

Never a massive game fan but some of the games that hooked me...
Arcade - Battlezone (with the twin handles for the realistic experience :D
PC - Mortal Combat
Amiga - Turrican 2
Sega Megadrive - Micro Machines (you could even plug and extra 2 controllers into the cartridge!)

And given the nature of this site who can forget Test Drive and Test Drive 2.
I had a PC so it was in glorious 4 colour CGA and you couldn't hold down the accelerate and turn key at the same time.
Test Drive 2, Hamster claimed on last weeks TG the F40 and 959 had never been together on TV before, but over 20 years ago they were on our computers/consoles

Enjoy

My mate used to deal all things Sinclair on fleabay a few years back - that would've fetched a couple of hundred quid !

Impossible Mission on the C64 - I remember the animation was awesome in it's day.
