I'm interested too. A set came up for sale on the forum but went very quickly a while ago. Anyone know if they are available new? and if so, what extortionate price are they? :P

Could someone come up with a pattern? They must be easyish to make (maybe by cutting + re-sewing two normal bags?)

In the pictures they just look like HEAD sports bags

The small Musto crew bags fit nicely.

Exactly my solution. Three mid-sized rectangular soft sports bags. I bought three no-name bags for a total of about 30 UKP at my local sports shop. If you take some measurements before you go, you can find a good match. Each bag is exactly the length of the fore-aft dimension in the boot, within a centimeter of the height, and they squish quite nicely. They're almost the same dimensions as the boot opening, so you drop one in lengthwise, turn it 90° and shove to one side. Repeat for the 2nd, and the third just gets sort of mangled into place between the two side bags. Put your "nice" clothes in the first two and t-shirts etc. in the third. We had enough space for conference gear for two people for a week (suit jackets, shoes, lots of shirts, notebooks etc.) and everything came out wrinkle free.

They still sell the two bag set at the dealers, they are £63.18 inc vat. I wasn't convinced they were worth it, and he didn't have a picture he could show me. Couldn't even tell me what colour(s) they come in. Does anyone have a piccy they could post up :)

No pictures I'm afraid, but I can tell you they're grey with black logos and probably aren't worth 60-odd pounds (I got mine for free). Very similar to Head bags (possibly slightly more rigid construction), but there's nothing fancy or clever about the size/design. Ferguson's approach is spot on I'd say thumbsup

Keep your eyes peeled on ebay?. They come up occasionally. I agree with other posts. There are cheaper alternatives available.

I think a pair went for around £85 not that long ago on this site which was also on ebay. They're nice but not 85 quid nice  IMO. I like the sound of fergusons approach.

:o Gosh!...i'm tempted to sell mine for that! price (only tempted mind ;) )

Personally i like them too much to sell them.

I also have the bag the car care kit comes in too. Matches the hand luggage, would make an excellant camera carry case or something similar (desperately trying to find a use for it other than to sit in my store room gathering dust) :)

Found the original manufacturer HERE :)
The fact they charge £2.50 for a polo shirt and £1 for a T, I think Vaux must have a rather large mark up on the bags

I have sent an email to the company to see if we could get vx220 bags in the same size but with a different logo. as they would fit really well and probably be dirt cheap. there would probably be a minimum order. ill post if i get an answer back.

Managed to blag mine as part of the deal to buy my NA. They're not worth the money, but they are pretty cool and fit perfectly in the boot. Always used to feel chuffed walking into a hotel reception with VX220 luggage too! ;)

I'd go for some if you're doing a bulk order. How about a VX220.org.uk logo? :)
