I believe Thorney sells the stuff on this site. I'd imagine there are over 100 active members with vx's, but its just a guess. Even if you talk him down to half that, its still a lot of bags - I guess given a markup (which is only fair to whoever has to stock all the bags) the actual difference between those bags and the vauxhall ones won't be that great :( (or were the vauxhall ones £60 each, not £60 per pair?) If this does go ahead i'd be up for 2 sets though ( 4 bags) bigbadben - 1x Set Dave - Ill have a set dont mind if it has a logo but would like to see it first. Markyboy 1 set please Code Monkey 1 set please assuming only need 2 to fill the boot of a turbo? Johnboyo - 1x Set Mandarinvx - 1 x set Thurtene - 1 x set, please Kev M - 1 x set RabidH - 2 x set

any news on anyone finding a VX220 logo for me. as the company will need this as it makes up a stitch count. obviously more stitches cost more money. i personally would want a logo on it. otherwise it would be just a bag. so ifanyone can send me one or post one on here i can get back to the company and get a proper quote.

Right then...

I really want a set of these and have done a bit of digging!

First do a search for posts by a user called 'Meldert'.
Find a post of his then right click on his sig and select save target as, and save to your desktop.
Then copy this file into C:/Windows/Fonts (I dont think you can download to there straight away as I'm not sure it will install correctly!)
Now open word and select the VX font from the drop down menu and select an appropriate size.
Ta-da

Looks pretty good, though would be better on a slant on the bags.

Tesco have the right size bags at the moment. £3.97 for an overnight one....a couple will fit just right in the Turbo .

I have two of the bags one is still in the shrink wrapping :D TBH as someone has already said in the thread they are basically just "head" type bags that you can get for a tenner from argos

I have one that's been used as my gym bag for the last three years. Have to say it's not that great quality - the zip is broken at one end and it's a bit ripped at both ends where the shoulder strap attaches.

the problem is down to the fact of the number of bags that we would need to make for the company to make a run of them. it needs a lot of bags for the company to justify turning on their equiptment, and i do not have that sort of money to put up front. Who runs the shop on here? or maybe if thorney would be interested then this could be a possibility. if not there isnt much chance im afraid, unless somone wanted to go upfront as well, or maybe split the cost of putting the order in. im sure they would sell on ebay very well, especially if they had a generic vx/elise type logo on the matter of the zip, when i spoke to the sales guy he said that he was never happy with the zip that vxl INSISTED upon having, and he said that that would be a weak point. he said that he would put on a "tried and tested" zip that has been proven to be the most relyable.

I have the original VX220 bags and I do think the zips are a bit crap. They look good and well made but they dont quite zip as easy as you'd want.
