I guess they might have some issues with vaux if using the normal VX220 logo

I guess another question is are the NA ones are Tubby ones different? I thought the NA guys had bigger boots

hi i have just been looking at the orginal supplyer from vaux and they want between £2-£15 for one depending..i have just sent an e-mail requesting one and a price.Also how much if we bought in bulk.

Perhaps start a new thread in the for sale and wanted section when you have full details.

right then, aparrently they were manufactured in the middle ast, so a run of 50 would possibly be too low. so if this was to be a worth while venture i would either need a lot of interest, or have a logo that i would be able to sell to non vx220.org members. any thoughts on a logo and colours would be helpful, but please bear in mind that they would all have to be of the same design and colour. i am hoping that a standard run wont be a silly number (anything over 200) as this would mean the chances of selling all of them would be quite slim. a guy from the lotus accounts will be calling me back in about an hour or so, so i will keep you all posted ont this.

id go for a pair price dependant. Also would rpefer NOT to have the vx220.org.uk bit on there. just have them as close to original as possible..... in terms of colour and logos etc.

We could just get them unmarked... We might be able to buy in lower quantities then. I know a t-shirt shop near me that will do custom vinyl logos on stuff you give them (the sort of vinyl that numbers on sports shirts are). I think it was £15 for a 1-off including a t-shirt - if we can get the unprinted bags then that may be a low volume way of doing it. tbh buying from vaux is looking like it would be almost as cheap then... edit: Obviously NA owners don't want turbo written on their bags

righty then... been out all day so this is what i have to report: the bags were made through osborne and they still have the sizes and dimensions. after a long talk with a guy he said that vauxhall had insisted on a certain kind of zip that he was never happy about but... the customer insisted. he said he would put a proper tested zip on the bags if we wanted them. problem is, it would need a run would to be around about 500. i will see if i can get this lower. and the overall cost would depend on the logo. as there is a stitch count that would have to be done based upon a logo that we wanted on them. me personally i would like a logo on them, otherwise it would be just like having a nicly fitted bag as apposed to having a nicely fitting bag that is tied to the car. he said that as the zips would be changed this would solve and copyright issues as far as he was concerned which is a bonus. depending on a resonalbe stitch count it would look to be 37 (including vat) for the two bag sets. they came in twos for those that didnt know already. this all boils down to the problem of the overall number vs our demands. i am sure that we could either sell bags through the website, or ebay, or even of thorney was interested this could be a possibility. i would say if all of us on here got them at cost, and then if a business (thorney, or somone with an ebay shop) could then sell the rest on ebay for a mark up. i am going to see if i can get him to reduce the run to 400. as this would mean 200 sets. i am not sure how many actual members there are on here with a vx so i wouldnt know how to predict. so... from you guys i would need a logo, and then i can go ahead and get a proper quote and start talking production runs and such with osborne. if anyonw could paste into here a decent picture of the vx logo in a vector based format. that could transfer to a design. or any other designs that we could decide on. on a side note. hello all im new here and i hope to be buying a vx this weekend, ive been lurking until now! my name is dave, im 24 and a it teacher currently living in bristol but moving to suffolk at the end of the month. my star sign is virgo. and my turn ons include.....

I've got four of these bags of which three are pristine as they appear to have only been used once or twice. They are quite reasonable quality, very sturdy. I've just spent a week abroad and took everything for the whole week in just one bag.

hay hey hey! i would have to be putting up £30 x 250 +vat. which is a hell of a lot of cash. i would need to be getting some offers of a reseller, and that sort of thing sorted as well if anyone has any ideas? i would have thought they would sell quite well on ebay but i dont want to, and neither can i afford to, loose money. i will get a formal quote once i have a proper logo and a stitch count which would allow me to price up the bags per set. and hopefully i can talk osborne down in the actual run of the bags. out of interest who sells the badges and polo shirts etc on this site? as i would rather sell through the site as i would be more likely to get some passing trade for the bags. another question is as a rough number how many people actually own a vx on this forum?
