The 6 I find is a bit more half way between the organic and 4 paddle and would recommend that for road / track use

The cover is uprated on the paddle options and the uprated organic options - the difference between what CS spec as road and comp spec organic ones is a std clutch plate and uprated cover for road version and the comp spec is uprated cover and plate - Helix only offer 1 uprated version for organic which is the CS comp spec

I have drove quite a few vx's with the 6 paddle inc Zacs the other weekend and I think most would not notice tbh - its more you dont want to be slipping the clutch (holding it on a hil with the clutch biting point etc) you can actually drive it like this but thats what casues excessive wear

Liam has had his fair share of different options through the door but would bet a small wager he would not go for organic on his own ;)

4 paddle feels a bit more agressive in terms of smaller bitting point - if in doubt side step the clutch :D lol

Hope this helps
DG

Thanks again chap thumbsup

So youre saying that the uprated cover is always required for the paddle clutches?

Thinking a 6 paddle one might be a good half way house for my sort of car/driving....

Some good info there thanks. Never had experience of a 6 paddle so would you say that's a good compromise between the 4 paddle & organic on the whole? Not a great deal difference in price. Going from organic > 4 paddle is +£40ish & organic > 6 paddle is +£60ish. Cheers. ETA: you read my mind with the same question about the 6 paddle. Yes if paddle get heavy duty cover plate as well.

Yep as stated ALL uprated options have an uprated cover just different centre plates be that organic / padal etc ;) - I tend to have always used Helix but done one Sacs one which was very similar to the Heilx stuff The difference between the organic and paddle is the centre sprung plate and from experiance find the organic one heavier on the pedal DG

Did you say its in with Liam? Prob best to get him to order it up

Or you can try Helix direct and Terry may give you a bit off unless of course you have a trade account ;) Sure Mardi Gras (spelling?) have a good stock levels and offer a fair price

Yes seems to be in demand atm, was round to harrass him the other day to help with some welding needed on an exhaust and was only an option to trade jobs as he had so much on lol

Is it still at Liams?

If you fancy doing the cutting and welding of the chassis and solid mount the engine / box on the track beast should have time :D

Will review the calender of doom but have a member already put back due to my other commitments atm so its not looking great tbh
