It has been done, I have until the 31st of this month to pick it up from the body shop, then it goes SORN until the weather gets nicer.

Completely missed the comment above!

Got it back now after about two months! Complete with painted hard top, front clam, doors and some fibre glass reworking on the light brackets

Gave it a wash, put the cover on, and will revisit it when the weather gets a bit better.

Plans are to properly bleed the brake system, fit a new timing chain and grab some Gaz to stiffen it up and drop it down a little, then perhaps by the time that's done I can tax it again!

Looks great.! I say a black bonnet would also contrast pretty well, especially as you have the white hardtop..

They did a great job - took it to a little garage/spray shop out the back of Salford run by the brother of a chap here. It will venture out at some point Ken, hopefully next week actually, I'm going to try and use it for the work run if I'm not visiting customers in the day. I pass the Mereway roundabout at about 5.10 each evening so might spot you around :lol:

Thanks, I am Italian in heritage yes, I don't speak it, but I understand a little. From Calabria.

I feel like I'm resurrecting something from the dead every time I post in this thread. Hardly have the time to do anything to it nowadays. It's uninsured and untaxed at the moment, sits under its cover most of the time up on axle stands.

I did find the time today to change the two engine mounts, injector plug and re-wire some of the ABS wiring as it had corroded.

Battery had gone flat too -.-
