I need the car tomorrow as I'm going away in it so I had to take a day off to sort it out, that and I'd miss silverstone next week if I didn't get it done.

Radiator and surround sorted:

Washed the tub down and fitted the other seats in:

Coolant in, bleeding the system (blue this time, I didn't like the pink before :D ):

Did an oil change and just thought I'd throw this one in as the engine looks so nice and clean:

Almost ready (awaiting delivery of tyres tomorrow):

PAx rear wheel and arch liner off, relocate the blue and black plug to it's correct position on the header tank bracket. Out in the elements a bit there...

And yes, the door paintwork is obvious, I ran out of time to find a colour matched paint so just got on with it so I can use the damn car. Will get it painted in a booth in a few weeks time when I can get a slot!

Yes that is something I've been meaning to do. Either that or just cover them up for the time being as I'm not sure I have the time for more fannying now! :P

It's 2 screws to do the wheel arch liner as the wheels are off.. Just bend it out the way. Be probably easier and quicker than covering them up!

hope you flushed the coolant system; the organic (pink or orange) coolant is incompatible with the inorganic (blue or green) stuff - combining the two causes silting and eventually gasket failure.

There may have been all of a cupful left somewhere but I got most of it out. Had both the rad hoses on the floor And even drained from the thermostat too. Hoping that will be ok?

Should be - it's more of an issue with cars prone to cooling issues - i imagine the k series elise would be much more sensitive to it than the Z22se
