What is it like for covering imperfections on the surface?

My door triangles have been vinyl wrapped and show loads of lumps and bumps underneath, would the plasti-coat hide these imperfections?

i think on the door triangle it would be quite easy to catch this with your fingernails and then put a rip in the finish, meaning you would have to take it all off again and put it back on once done.

Petrol cap and surround are not a bad idea though :)

ok heres some pic's

did the petrol cap twice as i tried it with the blots out and with them in, trying to put them back on pulled the coating off but it peels off in 1 go and happy days.

very happy with results and more happy about the factor that i can remove it so easily.

Very tiny ones yes, large ones no.

One of the triangles had a split in had to make it completely flat with fiberglass otherwise the imperfections would show.

Also best to use lots of thin coats.

I do think it is sold as some sort of function over asthetics product, as such it is soft to touch and grippy but it looks tired quite quickly if abused.

Had it on my VXT in several areas as below for 7months now without any signs of "tiredness" looks great i think (see my gallery pics).

I've used it on;

- Fuel cap
- Front "V"
- Window surround
- Interior dash panels
- Rear badges
- Front Splitter
