Mine needs a refresh and was considering where to get it done. This has inspired me to do it myself.
For £5 it's worth a go!

Just bought some matt black vinyl for £10 - 2000mm x 610. Will post some pics up when i've done mine, will also do some interior bits
Its avery stuff so hopefuly not too hard to work with

I got the 3 piece kit from edel car parts about 5 years ago

and to be honest it was pretty simple to fit. One piece is a bit more challenging but by the looks of this not nearly as difficult as some would like to make out.

Only took a couple of pics as the other guys had some more detailed ones. I hope they aren't sized wrong, ive never posted on here. But shows that you can get good results

A couple of things I would add to the instructions is to make sure you give the whole area a good scrub and degrease to clear any bits of grit which will show through if trapped underneath and it will also give the film every chance of sticking properly.

Leave plenty of overlap on the inside edge as the surround can be flexed up and it tucked underneath creating a perfect edge.

I was sorely tempted to get my primer done with a black surround but thought this as well. The silver surround is a good match as is, so standard it will stay for me.
