What codes are you getting? LeeVX2.2 been suffering from some immobiliser related problem where the ECU was claiming no knowledge of his key, despite it being programmed. We tried to re-program it via OP-COM but had no joy, even with the correct security code. He was going to try and get a new blank transponder key and try to associate that with the ECU but no idea if he's got any further with that, yet.

I got a P1604 or something like that. Got it written down at home. I've tried both keys with it. It gets to the point that i need to reset the ecu overnight even to get the opcom to connect otherwise it is locked out and won't connect.

Don't think Lee's was the same error. :( Didn't you have some form of fuse/battery problem recently? Have you checked the ignition services and battery services fuses in the front compartment to make sure they're okay. Might be worth pulling them and having a close look at them to see if they're okay and not corroded. Think there was also some kind of link between the interior light fuse and the immobiliser (might be wrong there though and it's the alarm). Might also be worth checking the starter relay (brown, I think) in the boot, especially if you've had any issues with dampness in there. After that, I dunno.

I think I'll go through the fuses 1 by one even if they are not related because my heater one decided to melt so there could be something else around that, that is causing some issues.

I'll check the brown one in the boot as well.

Someone mentioned that the comms port uses the same electrical circuit as the immobiliser which would make sense because when I get the error, the comms port stops connecting.
