Ricky's old diet posts were immense!!!!!! SteveA has made a decent list too of bits you can lose, but I agree with George Daz, leave your wallet in the van and you're sorted

I would leave the undertrays on too. These actually help with the air flow under the car. You want as flatter bottom as possible to maximise air flow speed underneath. Removing these will save weight, but that will probably have less effect than the aerodynamic disadvantages chinky chinky

Another crazy guy about weight saving is Gilles (Rugissante). A very complete topic there:

That car is for sale. Gilles is moving up, but will not tell us to what.

hopefully to something that warms its own tyres up so it doesnt have to weave around like a twat on the sighting laps and comes out of the pits in a decent manor and respects the fact that someone may be closing on them at a big rate of knotts

The biggest gain is in my opinion the wheels/tyres After that comes some mechanical parts like: Aftermarket, manifold and exhaust system Flywheel Battery Fuel tank EGR-Valve Headrests Stereo Balance-shafts fog lights Removing these will have great impact on weight without compromising comfort. Going further will cost more, give less and make the car to "raw" for most people. Think trough what your goal is. It's not good economy to waste a nice daily driver and realise that you wanted something else...
