Did Darron ever get a base weight for the car, before this round of stripping down started, George? Would be good to know how much you guys manage to shave off it.

Still loads to do before first trackday at oulton on friday. This will be a setup day and hopefully a chance for Darron to get use to the new setup. Got a trackday at cadwell 17th march to get use to the track and car as well as ironing out any niggles. First race is at cadwell on the 1st april.

Afraid not, reckon its all fairly minimal. He had already done some bits like perspex rear window before. We just want to look the part and make it feel like a race car

It's all looking good Darren. Glad to see someone else is also putting their car through a proper diet. I'm really hoping my car will be ready for Cadwell on the 17th March, so may see you there.

looking forward to a good day this friday,i hope to see a difference in the car,i have always found the car possessed enough grunt but i genuinely dont know just how good these cars can be!! my car has always been set up a little wrong after i wrote it off,it went thru a set of fronts at le mans in a day due to the wheels towing out like marty feldmans eyes,it used to squeel whilst driving in a straight line over the painted garage floor.after one trip out i had a french instructor come and tell me he could tell my shocks were goosed merely by watching my unloaded rear wheel following me into a fast corner but i have never known any different!!!! so it should be interesting to say the least

Fingers crossed any teething problems are small ones and simple to fix, in what Cadwell likes to call a paddock (actually that's probably the right name for it, everyone else has it wrong). thumbsup

I am really looking forward to this year Darron/Dean/George, can't wait for it all to kick off in April. Looks like you have made epic progress and I only hope I can make a good showing this year now there is another VX220 to bench mark me against.

Mike, you do realise that if you don't beat a lardy arsed Turdo you will never be able to show your face on .org ever again? You'll instantly be added to every NA/SC'ers Ignore List, your wife will leave you and your child will be bullied at school. You will turn to the comfort of strong liquor, be arrested for drunk driving and incarcerated in the same cell as a very angry 6 foot 5 inch gay Eastern European. (who incidentally was wrongly accused of eating overly rare lamb due to the spurious evidence of a certain VX owner) Then it will all be downhill from there. :(

Nope we will be in club RWD. Wont touch Mikes times this year with all his eliseparts shizzle. Last years dry times will be closer. Wet times will be erm interesting, think thats where you will see the difference from tubby to sc.

Be interesting to see how much Ronnie has improved his car over the winter.
