Is there a needle for water temp and fuel, or is it a shitty electronic display... Like on the Tubbys fake stake?

Interesting, thanks. You'll be one of the first cars with that.

Oh dear. Not that I can remotely afford one, but that would have meant I walked away. Can't be doing with that. I looked at a Seat Ibiza at the same time as the Polo and even a reasonable saving per month couldn't overcome the abortion of fuel gauge they had fitted.

I think its ok, declutters the dash a bit and gives more room for other things.

Has it got those rear indicators that progressively light LEDs from inside to out?  :)

Doing 600 miles a week at the moment in the new shed.

Its really grown on me. Wasn't sure at first, but the DSG is utterly fantastic and the hard seats are starting to bed in a bit. I don't think i'd chose alcantara again, but that is also slowly growing on me. the fact its quiet on the motorway is the single best thing.

45ish mpg is pretty good given that i don't hang around.

Is that not your fuelly account, as I don't see 45mpg on there? I know it a much bigger car, but 45mpg seems reasonable, but if the tank average is just 36mpg I would be very disappointed.
