And so the build begins.

I have bagged a small cash sponsor and am only £2,500 away from the amount I need to compete for 2012 along side Joe. So I am going to start the race prep of my VX220.

No going back now.

Rear subframe, suspension refresh, engine rebuild, new gearbox, fit LSD, new clutch, roll cage, fire extinguisher, race battery, electrical cut out, body work, paint, fit wing, modify diffuser. Think that is about it.

Mike, and to a lesser extent Joe (just because in theory you have less to do), if you need help with anything I'm more than willing to help, especially as your both so close. I'm no mechanical expert, but happy to lend a hand and some brute force when needed - wil be good, as I'll prob learn things as well - during your builds. Prob not that suited to the pressure of the pitlane, though happy to act as team photographer! (i'm also pretty handy when it comes to cleaning - cars not houses). Anyway, if I can help in anyway, give me a shout. G

2012 should be epic. I'll gladly help with spanners/ moral encouragement when my crappy job allows thumbsup

(if wanted of course :unsure:

) the prospect of Joe, Mike and Darren (if I read that correctly) is going to be really interestring, It'll also be funny watching the crew change their shirts when they walk from one garage to the other
