Apparently they're fine, explained here

Though that's referring to real ATS DTC's.

But the Motec's are TÜV approved, so aren't likely to collapse at the first ripple in the road.

Weights are

Fronts 7.5kg
Rear 8.9kg

No they're not... add at least 1 Kg for the real non marketting weight...
(that would be on par with the TDs 1.2 in fact)

You would be supprised at actually wheel weights, not weight measured on bathroom scales or claims by distributors. Bear in mind rotating inertia increases the further weight is moved from the axis it rotates around. Hence tyre weight is more detrimental than wheel weight. Kind regards, Paul

:yeahthat:
I weighed my DTC's with tyres and then found the TD with tyres weights on that french site, they was nothin in it, and if you step down to 205/235 instead of 215/245 the DTC's were actually lighter.
A tyre size being bigger doesn't always mean it is heavier.
TD quoted weights are best case for that casting, with as much centre hub removed as possible.
The DTC is dished to have as little unwanted hub section as possible, don't know about the Nitro.
I have ran mine for 2 years on pretty bad roads and had no issues.

Already been quoted £536 for a set in September. that was delivered.

Keith @ Revolution on 0191 4619200

So this is the cheapest option then.

My supplier can do them for approx £600/set but must be 6 sets and has to be in bronze.
