Yeah, he's been single a while! :D

Seriously though, I agree with all Joe's posts here. CMS / 2bular / uprated pump

MMG also does stage 4, not sure what exhaust though. MMG is cheaper than CMS but uses an uprated intercooler instead of chargecooler AFAIK hence lower labour time/cost. Plenty of people have had stg 4 from MMG, darronwall is the first name that springs to mind if you want specific feedback on it.

As the "official" 2Bular agent, I guess it'll be one of Jim's systems.

You can save yourself a good wedge of cash by getting a decent local fabricator to make up a 3" exhaust (as opposed to an 'off the shelf' item). I did this and had good results. HTH.

I'm also in a similar situation and have this decision to make. CC/IC debate aside there is a difference in the route CMS & MMG use to get 300bhp. CMS use an uprated actuator with a stonger spring where MMG use the standard one. So MMG's boost comes in earlier (and therefore for longer) and CMS's delivers more boost for a shorter period of time. Geography is probably going to be the ultimate decider for me.

Other tuning options are also vMax and Klassen directly (in Germany). I know it sounds far fetched, but paying an extra £400 roughly to drive to Germany and fly back to pick up isn't such a big deal when you are spending thousands and thousands. I know Ian (Danger7) really rates vMax and I have heard good things about their work from a guy in Turkey. Obviously Klassen knows his stuff too ;)

The number of extra tweaks/add on parts/embellishments is almost limitless. "Stage 4" is just a way for a tuner to refer to an approximate state of tune, not a fixed set of kit parts with an exact BHP outcome really. Thus for example a stage 4 tune may or may not incluse a larger top hat etc etc.

My Stage 2 was CMS and my Stage 3 is MMG. From a customer service and relaibilty point of view they have both been excellent and I think you are in safe hands which ever way you go. AFAIK An uprated Fuel pump isn't required, they just do it as most VX's are getting on now and if one fails it can cause some serious issues.
