Wind it in you pair of fuckwits,it's someone's livelihood you are having a do at here!
Are you calling me a fuckwit? The only fuckwittery here is in your reply.
YOU brought up the question of whether somebody can get hold of Courtenay's on a Saturday and by implication meant that it wasn't possible. In MY experience, it has been. Was that something negative towards MMG? If it was, I can't see how.
Yes, I'm a happy Courtenay customer for supercharger and "official" service related work. I guess MMG is physically closer (and TMS certainly is) but I choose them as they did the SC conversion on my car and are the only people that have the mapping arrangement with Klassen on our converted cars. Would I get better value from MMG, quite possibly and nobody is arguing about that.
If we want to bring damaging peoples livelihoods into the equation, maybe we should look at exactly what the source of MMG's one and only SC mapped ECU is?

That's fair enough so long as it is genuine and constructive. It's better for people to hear all opinions rather than just those that use MMG

My point is cms are a big business who prob could not give a monkeys toss whether the vx220 existed or not as i am sure they probably have larger fish to fry,my beef is that most of Liam's work must come from this one site and any flippant quip could hurt his business, one thing I am sure of is his knowledge of our cars is beyond question and his level of service and ability to improve them is impressiveNo love lost here, turbobob has only stepped up and commented because daronwall started it
I imagine he is one of those guys that shouts

People buy people, its a personal thing for the vast majority of serial tuning bods like us (I am a fully paid up member of the moddy club) I have no financial gain from my reccomendations and I am not protecting my livelihood when I suggest to forum members about companies I have used on the occasions that people have PM'd me. We all have our favourites and there are companies which for a variety of reasons I would not use again there products or services. But we all should be objective and look at what's the best mod product or service overall based on say
1. Service performed.
2. Quality of customer service and after sales support.
3. Overall total costs of product or service
4. Time of completion - i.e achievement of target completion time
5. Distance to travel to tuning company
6. Referrals of their products and service
7. Liability issues and monies back policies
The forum should have a seperate tuners sections where they can post and slag each other off all day along and the likes of the poor unfortunates can carry on regardless and in pure ignorant bliss.
As Ken Brittain (of BBR) once shouted out in the paddock to Rudi Eggenberger (Ford's semi official Touring car team) concerning the power outputs of their respective Cossie's
' Rudi how much yer got under the hood of yer cossie's cos, if yer not making 550 horse yer know sh*t'
Cheers all

Hmm strange that considering he does alot of work with lotus, so actually believe his main business plan is with the lotus chassis'd car as aposed to soley the Vx.
If his business plan is solely for the Vx community where you can buy one for 6k then his business plan is flawed from the start and it will epically fail on its own and not due to myself.
So why don't you go and sit on your intercooler
