Booo! :) It's a good stage but difficult to drive in the rain with all that torque, ace in the dry though.

Just be aware of the turbo stall problem you get with the CMS stage 4 and even stage 3 ask about it as it does spoil the car waiting on Duncan VXR to sort it out.

MMG all the way,a proper approachable knowledgeable chap, can you ring cms on a sat afternoon from the pits at oulton park? I only use my car as a track car and have drive with a lot of other peoples stg4 cars and either MMG do it better or I am a very good driver! .......I suspect it's the former rather than the later!!!!

Not tried from Oulton, admittedly. But have done so from Anglesey and Abbeville, if that helps? :D

Wind it in you pair of fuckwits,it's someone's livelihood you are having a do at here! When I bought my vx all I would see was people lording up tms, what happened there then? And have you any evidence to prove cms give you more for you're money than MMG? And have you any evidence to prove a MMG stg4 car is more fragile than a cms one?? All I can add is I have never been dissapointed with them, and I am sure this goes for many many others who log on here I'll add anything I have ever rang Liam about at a ungodly hour has had fcuk all to do with wot he has done to my car!

No,but then I don't have a little dig at every mention of them do I?
All I am getting at joe is that any little dig,in jest or not, could effect someone's business, get my drift?

Another vote from me for MMG, the way i see it is every customer of CMS is very happy with there service and every customer of MMG is so for me its down to who you live closest to. I rang Liam last sunday when he was with his family and he gave me advice even though it had naff all to do with any work he has done to my car. Ive rang him on other sundays and anti social times for advise whilst ive been working on my car. He has always done a top job at a good price for me so i wouldnt use another tuner now. Likewise if i lived in norfolk id go to CMS instead. And id go for a 2bular exhaust Joe does seem very very keen on CMS and turbobob always seems very very pro MMG. So id ignore there comments and go with what everyone else says :P :gayfight:

Not really joe,no I don't get your drift,I can only speak from the positive experience I have had fro using MMG,whereas you seem a little too eager to slate when you have no experience of using them,do you? Whereas I have never slated cms as I have never used them, mainly because as they are on Norfolk,I think,I imagine they all have six fingers on each hand and consider their sister to be their mother and their dad to be their brother, genetics aside o am sure they do a fine and dandy job,Inbetween playing the banjo and looking haphazardly in hopelessly opposite directions,I am sure they do a good job

would be great if you could find these posts from me slating them :) as all i have ever said about mmg is i dislike there intercoolers and i have never said anything bad about himself, his work or how he carries it out. i also dislike the fact he doesnt have a rolling road

FFS Joe. Banter is one thing, but deliberately trouble making is another. Your unfounded digs at intercoolers and MMG intercoolers and therefore by association and implication is a dig at mmg. I have never dissed cms. All I do along with an increasing number of other people is advocate mmg the service and products. In addition I try and add some foundation showing intercoolers do actually work on tuned vx's. It would seem that for nothing other than your own pleasure is to Diss it. And therefore putting doubts into people's minds. Which just isn't cricket now is it?

I do not know the answer to the question.....but. Only this week I have been talking with various people about the "stage 4" set up, if we are going to call it that. From my point the best person for me to deal with was Liam. In addition to the engine tuning Liam spent almost an hour talking with me about "geo" set up and other topics VX related. Having run my own tuning business from 1980 to 2002 with SBC engines and other V8's I can appreciate how good Liam is. And he took all this time with me even though I have not placed any order with him yet. So, is he better than the others, I don't know, but for me he was far nicer to deal with. So he will be getting my business in the very near future. "SO".
