Now you see Joe, this is what I mean about your comments being harmful. There was no reason for you to post in this thread. The OP put up a review of his stage 1.5 remap and the OP was very happy. You have since posted your opinions on here and in more than one pair of eyes people read them as being negative whether you think that they are or not. If I were in Liams shoe's I'd be pretty pissed off. Someone has posted a review, be it negative or positive. Just leave it To the OP, I'm glad that you are happy with the work you've had done on your car

if you look at the first page, i didnt make any remarks and said iw as staying out of it until georgebc decided to comment on cs but just re read my posts and i didnt see anything negative, just facts

to be honest, i think its blatent to see that me and george just wanted to vent some steam and have a little giggle considering we both have cars that dont work

then they need to wake up and smell the fresh air cant be bothered getting in a pissing contest though as i know whats been going on with the sc maps as its all on here what and when they did it

partial throttle just needs a couple of tweaks, as said the ironic thing is it would have been noticed if they did on the road mapping

can expect a few problems when doing an ecu transplant to a different engine with different characteristics etc. that fact that its got this close, shows how good CS and Klassen are at mapping

My current SC map was done on rolling road, and exmantaa's using hptuners also. Both happy with it. I fail to understand the dyno obsession here, other then RR probably spitting out wrong performance sheets. But who cares if the car noticably runs better.

So, in conclusion - I have now used both MMG and Courtenays.

I was impressed with both. While Courtenays are a bigger outfit, I feel that this is not always so important. In my experience of any business, you often get the best service from a smaller outfit. I agree that for the big power boys / supercharged etc it might be better to use a rolling road dyno set up. However, for most VX owners looking to improve on the OEM set up I think you will be hard pressed to find a more honest and personal service that you get at MMG. I was in their garage while they carried out the work and used their tools to rectify a few nigges myself that I had with the car. Try doing that at one of the larger garages! Im not looking to plug them - just to recommend their services to like minded VX owners.

When I look at the kind of performance that i now have - it can be compared to some very expensive machinery on the road. This is why I love the VXT - its just so much bang for the buck - just like the stage 1.5 from MMG.....
