I have 40 pints of cider bubbling away. Used a kit this time, but have previous made turbo cider from supermarket apple juice and baking yeast. Can be a bit fierce - last batch I used malic acid and a very strong cup of coffee and it was much better - didn't have a hydrometer but guess it was about 8-10% - one 660ml bottle was enough!! Used 2 teaspoons to prime the bottles - whoosh!! :)

 Just bottled a woodfordes head cracker 'barley wine' or more importantly a 7% head fcuk :) It tastes decent out of the bin which is a surprise so a spot of maturing and all will be well
