i honestly cant think if i have ever done that... :lol:

but then i have been hitting my head alot lately :lol: it could have only been on mine as lee usually fits the map sensor while im grinding stupid bolts off :lol:

remember that mandarin vx220 you once owned.............................

Misery! It didn't help. I put back the old MAP sensor again but it's all the same. Is it knackered because of the insulation tape? New sensor will appear in a day or two.

Courtenay generic map.

I took away the sensor again. Realised that I had managed to get silicon in the way of the hole.....
This this propably happen again.
What do you people think of my next idea, to put an o-ring at the base of the sensor.
It should be an air-tight fit when I use the clamp to put some preassure on it, should'n it?

I did. It arrived today. Car works fine again.
