Well, results are in!
Dom at TVR power has been really great. I do a lot of overseas driving with the car and the really good fuel isn't always the easiest to get so he has given me 2 chips for the ecu - one to run with regular fuel and one to run with premium v-power type stuff.
My chip for the regular fuel is detuned to 350bhp and 345ftlb. So far, this is the only chip I have driven on and it is chuffin fantastic! I can't wait to get some V-Power 100 racing or some Aral 102 ultimate so I can put the other chip in, which gives me 400bhp and 365ftlb!! These numbers are all at the WHEELS - not at the fly like Courtenay and the likes give and what the manufactures publish. Divide by 0.8 to give a guesstimate of flywheel power.
And whilst the inlet rebuild was an unexpected cost, it has made the car MUCH smoother!

EPIC! Just EPIC! Bouncing off the ceiling! 
The higher power chip is in along with some ARAL Ultimate 102 fuel. The car is unbelievable. My license and I are going to have to be VERY careful!

I had thought about a sag rear spoiler but I really want to keep it looking original. All the work so far is under the skin.
Above about 160 (had it up to 226 before the diff change) the car does begins to feel very light so maybe a spoiler would help but how many tracks can I go over 160 on?
