Mikey on here had a black one with OZs i think and that looked ok. You're right though, nothing is going to better than the spiders. Just need to find the right tyres for them ;) :P

Ok... its been a while. Time for a little project update. Tuscan S brakes have been fitted and uprated pads all round. Full respray has been done. I've gone for a very similar colour but with a little bit more depth! The whole car has been sprayed silver with a red kandy on top. I've got a couple of pictures which I'll try and get up (those on my facebook will have seen them already) but will take some more shots when I'm back in the UK. The colour is actually an alfa colour used on the 8c called competizione red. Because of the way the process is there is a fantastic contrast between high and low lights. There are some nitrons R1 shocks going on this week which will hopefully make the car feel a bit less rock solid and a bit more progressive. Can't wait to see the car which will be on the 27th. Track v road will be looking after it for me in their showroom until I get all the paperwork sorted to ship it out here so if any of you head over there before I do I'd be keen to know what you think to it in the flesh! I've only seen pictures so far. There will be a syvecs ecu fitted before it comes out to me in Cali which should add a little bit more power, especially through the mid range, and will add traction control :poof: but the main purpose of this is adding knock sensing which will adjust things/retart things for the not so great fuel out here. (it is difficult to get more than 95 ron here but most tracks do have 105+ ron fuel available trackside). Once the car is here the 18" spiders will be widened to take some meatier rear tyres. I'm not sure what width we will be able to squeeze in there but I'm hoping to get 295 tyres on the back. Fronts will likely stay at 225. Ah yes, the wheels were all refurbed and sprayed titan grey which is a Bentley colour. It has a VERY fine metal flake to it which gives the paint a real liquid look.

Nice one Rich, thumbsup Are you going to be able to sneak it into the US okay, without the US Government trying to hang, draw and quarter you?

Armourfend - no way! Not a fan of the stuff. It is going to come here on a temporary import for 12 months which is all legit. Will see how it goes and if I decide its worth it I'll look in to things longer term.

Thanks guys! Yes, the lights were colour coded by the previous owner - it's just something I quite liked and decided to do again when it was resprayed

Rich, seriously now, how I do I have your life please? Living in LA, driving a 500bhp TVR and a badass motorbike and just generally doing exactly what I want to do!

That was at the wheels so times this by .8
