I had a nut missing off my manifold. The engine was noisy but still boosted. Was the actuator adjusted properly when you fitted the VXR Turbo?

Tried it again last night. It peaks at 13 and holds at 10psi. I've checker intercooler pipes and seem fine. What should I check now and how?

Are you sure it's down on power. Borrow / buy a Scanguage 2 and it'll tel you how much power you're putting out, which you could check against the original dyno plot. Could be you're just used to the power now.

I wouldn't know if im down on power as I bought it stage 2 but it seems the same as when I bought it. Maybe its cause the maps old? Or the actuator?

How accurate are the BHP readings from a Scangauge?

If they were accurate I'm not sure people would spend money on Dynos.

Granted you wouldn't rely on one when mapping a car :P but I think they are reliable enough to be able to tell if you are losing power over a period of time. My shows that I'm slightly down on power when it's hot over when it's cold outside.

My scangauge is 1bhp less than my last rolling road session. I don't know if this is a coincidence though as if i went to three different rolling roads they would all be different.

Anyway - I've never seen the bhp figures on my scanguage. Do i need to do anything special to find it/set it up?

10-12psi is std boost of a tubby my boost gauge hits 20psi at peak then drops to 17psi (a happy sg2) Book yours in at CMS to be checked, they will be able to re map and confirm boost for you
