Can't believe it's been nearly a year since the last post on this thread. So time to revive it.
Took my mum out for lunch on her 82nd birthday two days ago. Just me and her. Real quality time. She's very frail now and so I'm grateful for every day that we still have her.

And my Nan's 84th on Christmas Eve. Precious time to be had, just I wish (and I don't want to sound horrible) that she could see it for what it is. The next year will be tough on this front... I just hope I can put aside all the negativity she has built and help pull her and my Grandad out the other side. Children do seem to be a tonic, and I want both of mine to enjoy their time with them whilever they are still here. I don't recall 3 of my Great-grandparents (the other was a body on a bed in a nursing home, in my eyes as a 4/5yr old)... I only hope that mine are left with fond memories. It was my dad's 80th two days ago (29th) Wolfie, know what you mean about precious time. Can't believe it's been nearly a year since the last post on this thread. Good News - One of my very clever chums has finally got the Wi-Fi booster to work properly right round the house! SWMBO is happy!!
Bad News - The BMW530d Touring has broken an antiroll bar bracket off it's front subframe so that is another huge bill it has cost me this year.
