I've sold the black sub and bought an SS GMT II but I've still got the blue sub. The LV's (green) were rumoured to be a limited edition model in 2003 but I knew that wasn't true but that there would be demand for them anyway. I placed deposits in six Rolex dealers. They all accepted £50 except Goldsmiths in the Trafford centre who wanted £500. They all came within two weeks of each other which put me in the position of having to lay out a lot of dosh which I didn't have so I paid for the Goldsmiths one and upped my deposit on all the others to confirm purchase but told porky pies and said I was out of the country for a short while. I sold them (5) one by one at a profit of £500 each and kept one and wore it for a year. At the end of the year I sold it for what it cost. I put that profit towards the VX.
I've got a few other watches as well including a Rotary 18k skeleton watch with glass back and front which was a 16th birthday present. Also a Tissot 'Touch' which is quite good although it eats batteries, and quite a few cheapo plastic watches.
I like Omega, had one way back but sold it, but I hate Breitling as they're far to fussy. Not very keen on Tags. Looked at some Panerai in the HQ shop in Florence about eight weeks ago but they're not really for me.
