I'd look at past sales on seats with runners. £250 I'd say. Good luck with the sale.

Not wanting to spam this thread, but is there a better market for seats advertising outside the VX market (i.e directly to Lotarse or MX5 owners, or Ebay) and is there a definitive guide to compatibility with Lotus anywhere? Not that I may have a pair to sell

:yeahthat:

They do seem to sell well on eBay just put bucket seats in the title as well as VX220 then they get all the kit car, mini owners etc looking...

I sold my black leather seats on the MX5nutz forum within a day, at full asking price. You just need to find someone with a login, as you can't create a login and post a 'for sale' straightaway.

Cheers everyone!! Really appreciate the advice- need to spread the word!! I'm having issues with Ebay well more paypal at the moment, but as soon as thats resolved I'll stick em on there also - any point in using Gumtree? I will look into the other forums also- anybody know anyone on MX5nutz who'd be happy to advertise on my behalf?

Hi Greg,

what you upgraded to ?

Or going for the no seat look :ninja:

Woke up 1 morning thinking how can I improve the performance without adding more power? Then it hit me - Weight shedding!! Certain circles have warned me that its technically illegal to not have seats but the risk is worth the extra speed I'm getting

Lol I was never sure the blue inserts suited the green so bought Lee's Black Leather seats. Also Dave The Trimmer is doing a lil something with the door cards, dash and binnacle.......... going to look sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!

Leave Gumtree alone IMHO it's a gash place and guaranteed spammers

I put mine on eBay with no reserve and a £50 starting price. They sold out side eBay two days later. Just put MX5 in the title and you'll sell them fine.
