It's time I found my VX mojo again and I can't afford to run two cars. I therefore need to get rid of the E60 and put myself behind the wheel of a Tubby or VXR. I'll be advertising the E60 within the next couple of weeks and should get around £12500 going by what other similar age/mileage/condition/models are actually selling for. It's just tipped over 41k miles, has a full service history (almost all BMW), bluetooth, iPod connection and the odds and sods these things come with (although no integrated SatNav). It's big, comfortable, very well built, fast for a big, car and considering it does 0-60 in about 6.5, it's economical too (at 40+mpg average). Erm... So, it's a long shot that anyone on the VX220 forum would be interested in a fast, relatively economical but near enough opposite of a VX but it's surely worth asking. For the right car, I could probably lay my hands on some funds to make up the difference between mine and a VXR but I'm open to PX ideas and offers. Anyone?

It's the saloon. The wagon is the E61. Should have posted a better photo! :)

Shame you're in Edinburgh.... Otherwise I may have been interested in the BMW. You can't have my VX though :P

We have the E61 model of this (estate!) beautiful car really nicely engineered. Would recommend one of these for anyone after a family tank with a bit of luxury.

Yep, exactly! It's a good blend for a family car. That's why we got it. MrsG is getting the family car now though through her company, so it looks like I can go back to something fun and VX-shaped! :D

Hi Steve - it's a 2006 (56 plate, registered Dec '06). I've got it on a private plate at the moment (the plate was a present...not my idea).

I'll take some more photos when it's not lashing down with rain. Like most of the rest of the country, it's been :excl: weather here for the past couple of days. Woke up to thunder and lightning this morning!
