true, but it was also imapacted between the rear nearside and the black roll bar (if thats what it is)

pictures of the damage behind the wheels would be your best bet, then the damage can be assessed

true, but it ws also hit between the rear nearside and where the roll bar meets the frame

Why don't you see if there is a local member willing to assess the damage for you for a few beer tokens? If you were closer to me I'd deffo have a look for you.

what would be the easiest way of getting that? taking off the underside of the car? or would i have to remove the whole rear clam?

If there's a big hole in the sill where it was hit, stick a camera in there and take half a dozen pictures. Post them on here and we'll probably be able to make a call on it then.

thats only 60 miles from Back on Track. I think rear wheels off, arch liners out and poke a torch down the sill

dont get me wrong it could be put back on the road, i just cant afford it.


If it's a case of replacing a few suspension parts/tie rods/hub carrier etc then it can be done a lot cheaper than you think, buy 2nd hand from breakers. If you can live with it not looking pristine then gaffa tape it up and do the body work when you can afford it.

Jeez, my car is made of other peoples cast offs and bits i've found in breakers yards!

I have just got back from mechanic and the red lines highlight where it is bent. there also needs a replacement wishbone and 2 replacement rear control arms. fully fixable or not?
