It is interesting to see Derren's responces on twitter. He has long had battles with the Sun, the big thing about him being gay was quite amusing.

There is always more than meets the eye with Derren Brown, the difference is at the end he usually explains it all, or most of it, you feel a bit conned but also entertained. I have seen him live and was very impressed, I would liked to have got picked out because I am definitely a doubter when it comes to this sort of thing, hypnotist's have failed or I am just not willing to 'be under' before now but I have seen mates do some weird stuff while hypnotised. I reckon this will end with him back at his house and DB waking him saying "Theres no place like home, theres no place like home" some sort of wizard of OZ thing trying to give him some courage, heart and what was the other thing? A brain, maybe not.

Keep an eye on his twitter feed, he often calls for people to be on his show (i was in assassins).

I'm gutted by it, it's so fake!! The 'victim' is SO in on it!!

The bit on the bus when all the sh*t special effects meteor shower was going on when Derren ran up to the guy touched his head and he immediately went into a trance!!??!!?? WTF as if that's possible!!! Hypno Ninja Brown would be an international agent of the secret service if he could do that to strangers. Idea sounded ace but turned out bollocks!!!

Rupert Murdock got into so much trouble over phone hacking yet Mr Brown can completely hack everything in this guys phone/twitter etc.....

I can';t take it seriously I'm afraid.

I wouldn't believe it either, BUT my friends brother (Jody Resuggan) was the guy they managed to convince that he'd murdered someone! I wouldn't have believed that if I hadn't known him.

Just watched the second part... It got worse, alot worse! I've no doubt at all the whole thing is a load of bollocks now. Big surprise at the end Leona aka Jordan is actually 22?! Not such a big surprise when she reveals her real name to Steven as we allready got a hint of that when he slipped up and called her it in the first episode.

I must admit that I didn't enjoy the second part as much as the first but it was still ok. I tried to check out the 'victim's' slip of the tongue in the first episode, as mentioned by Dab of Oppo above, but I'd already deleated it! That slip up does make the whole thing look like a bit of a scam though! Oh well!
