An update for you. I now have several made and a few more on the go which will be finished in a couple of days. (NOT a Duncan, sorry couldn't resist)...... I will be working on the fuel pump access cover tomorrow and will post some pictures when it is done which will hopefully be tomorrow night. I have been to the post office and P&P will be £7.00 signed for Delivery or £10.00 next day Delivery, or you can collect in person or arrange your own collection. Payment by Bank Transfer, Cheque or Cash. Should I pm everyone on the list my details? Dave.

Lee/Nick, if you two are both still in, shall we ask Dave to combine them into one delivery to one or other of us? Might save a bit of postage and more likely to survive the tender care of Royal Mail temporary Xmas staff.

Thanks dave Just Pm us how much our share of postage is please when you know. Also anyone know how to cut the bulkhead with the sound deadening still in place I removed a small bit of it when I attached the ecu to the bulkhead and it was a pain to cut I assume a dremel disk should work ok or something bigger? how easy to remove it in one bit? thinking fuel lines

I will take a guess on this otherwise I will waste time and diesel to the post office! If you send £50.00 each that should cover the postage for the 3 panels. If its a massive amount more I'll let you know! Dave

I tried to drill once through hat stuff and it tangled up completely. Melting through however goes very well.

Some photos of the fuel access cover.

I have done two types, the cover with the fold on the front would allow a slightly larger hole to be made, I can remove the fuel pump ass"y from a standard tank, not sure what a larger tank is like perhaps someone can spot any shortfalls. Again you could use rivnuts to fasten in place.

I have pulled the wiring loom through the original blanking plate but a split cover could be made to enable this modification to be done without removing the loom, your suggestions are welcome!

Dave

looking good as always Dave! think my biggest concern would be cutting the larger aperture with the tank & petrol in place! one spark &...... :o definatly think a cover which allowed fitting / removal with the loom in situ is the way to go though :) prefer the 'look' of the cover without the fold as long as the access is there for the fuel pump / gauge sender which I'm sure it i!
