Hell all, I'm off to pick up my long awaited replacement NA engine tomorrow and the breakers has a Larini exhaust back box and u bend from the same car. With one eye on a future SC conversion I am very tempted however, having no experience of these things could someone who currently has / has had one please confirm: Will it fit straight onto my standard set up? Will it be too noisy for track days? Any general thoughts on these systems durability and living with them? Cheers in advance. Neil

If you want to track you may struggle with a Larini. They are generally of decent quality. How much do they want for it?

It will bold on, they're pretty well made and sound great, but they are loud. I love mine, it's got a lot of character, but it'll be pushing it at some tracks.

Hmmm might just go for it anyway and keep standard in case it's gets too much. Thanks for instant feedback. This forum is cracking! Oh and I am getting a decent price cos I'm buying the engine and other bits as well.

Sounds like a winner!! I had one, and it was great on a standard engine, but only when youre in the mood. I drove back from the National with a hangover and would have paid a lot of money for a mute button!! :P

I have since sold it and cut open the standard one a la the Pipo mod ;)

VXT larini isn't as loud as the NA either ;) Mine pushes 98 - 99 db. Too loud for 80% of UK tracks. But I don't care  Euro track days are cheaper anyway :P

I know I was all excited when I found out it was a lifetime warranty and then they asked for my details and car details etc and that is when I found out as JG has stated it is only with the original buyer of the system!

If anyone has a problem with noise levels at a track day I do have a blueflame fitted to my vxt if anyone fancies a swap, it sounds lovely to be fair, I just fancy something a little louder......

I think you're probably looking for baked bean cans a la Corsa, for that.
