Ok I got it. Thanks

But is this for all brands? Which brand do you got?

Mine were second hand so i don't know the brand the brand.

You save weight from the inner diameter on all bearings available now (9117622)

But there are also some design variations on the main flange. (where the disc is lying flat) which can show bosses or not but i don't know if they changed flange thickness .

No bosses

Or with bosses

635164743858090000.jpg

visually, it seems that the part without bosses has a thicker flange to keep the same threaded length and then, should be heavier.

i know that FAG bearings are a "no bosses" design.

That would be a tough one to save 3kg from that window.

Which bearings have no bosses / plain flange? I was contemplating the feasibility to re-drill some new bearings to take a 5x114 PCD wheel, and this isn't possible with the version with cast bosses.

Think a like. One of the main reason to by FAG is they could be possible to re drill for 5/114.3 but I dont know, they seem to have holes everywhere for some unknown reason.

Exactly....
The only thing you can do is drill existing hole to 14 mm diameter on a 5x112 circle and install studs...

Pretty sure I've lined up a PCD spacer with 5x114 over an old hub flange (must have been an SKF as it had those 'bosses') and you could place another set of holes between the existing 5x110 holes, and the random hole I don't know what its there for.. Will try double check again tonight if I remember..

Im sure its possible but how much strength will you have left?
But Im interested to see what you can come up with?

Hows it going Rosssco to see if you can add Another bolt pattern to the hub?

I have a question, I´m looking to make a pulley for a Honda K 7 rib belt but I can find the right

dimensions to use.

Can someone help me to find the right dimensions?

What kind of pulley? A driven one (crank) or an idler/tension pulley?

Standard K20 idler pulley is an 31190-RRA-A00 and might be a good template/donor to get info from. Should be on various K20 based civics (also the lower spec K20A3's) in scrapyards.

7PK belts have a standardised groove spacing, shape/angle and groove depth. Some info in here:

https://www.optibelt...BELT_MANUAL.pdf

Probably more to be found if you google around a bit..

Bye, Arno.

I lined up a wheel spacer with 5x114 over a hub (couldn't properly overlay as the center bore / spigot on the spacer was smaller than the hub), but looking at alignment, I think the bolt hole might interfere with the brake disc mounts onto the hub (on the outer edge), so not sure its feasible..

Hows it going Rosssco to see if you can add Another bolt pattern to the hub?

Thanks Arno

I searched and searched and didn´t find anything but then I did.

But your link confirmed the info I found. 40 deg angle and grooved pitch 3.56 for PK belt.

Have you measured what the absolute minimum size of the bed can be for the Speedster to fit?

Found a small trailer with minimal (but still ok)  "totalvikt" and "tillÃ¥ten maxlast" that will fit my Trafic van. Not sure if the car will fit though...

For your speedster or my?  :-)

My was around 182cm at widest point for rear Wheels.

with this modicifcation I will have around 4cm margin on each side, not much but more then nothing.
